Peter brings to Blue Energy extensive international gas industry experience having trained as a Geologist. He has held management and executive positions in many countries with companies such as Shell, BHP, Premier Oil and others. Peter has also worked with the national oil companies of Indonesia and South Korea and as a special adviser to the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste. Peter has recently been advising the Indonesian authorities on the formation of a coal seam gas fiscal regime.

Peter is internationally recognised as a Distinguished Lecturer on Risk for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Life Member of SPE, Life Member of South East Asian Petroleum Exploration Society, Graduate of AICD Mastery program, Certified Petroleum Geologist, and a member of the Institute of Directors in UK. He has previously held board positions in Australia, Indonesia, India, Kuwait and USA. Peter has authored in excess of thirty papers in the energy sector.

Heung-Bog Lee Heung-Bog Lee

Heung-Bog is the Nominee of 8.7% Shareholder, Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), which isthe largest LNG importer in theworld. He has over 20 years' experience in LNG projects including E&P Projects in Australia, South Asia and Middle East Countries. He is currently Director of KOGAS Australia Pty Ltd and KGLNG Pty Ltd at Brisbane. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University of Science & Technology(SNUT) and a Master in Energy and Mineral Resources from the University of Texas in Austin.

Paul Massarotto

Dr Massarotto holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland where he is a Principal Research Fellow developing and leading research programs to maximise CBM production and reserves. Paul has acted as an expert witness and consultant to the CSG industry and has published over 50 papers. His broad 40+ year experience covers senior technical, drilling and operational management in the international oil & gas and infrastructure industries, including M&A. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and is a member of the Risk and Audit Committee.

Garry Button

Garry is the nominee of substantial shareholder Stanwell Corporation Limited where he is Chief Financial Officer responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of Stanwell's finance, business improvement, financial risk management and procurement functions. Garry has 30 years' experience including several senior financial and corporate roles within Queensland Rail, Fairfax and Unilever Australia. He is a Fellow of both CPA Australia and The Finance and Treasury Association (where he is also a past national President and NSW Chapter Chairman) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Garry is Chairman of the Risk and Audit Committee.

John joined Blue Energy as Chief Operating Officer in May 2009, was promoted to CEO in April 2010 and joined the Board of Blue Energy in June 2010.

John's 26 years in the oil and gas industry has involved conventional O&G and CSG experience, in a variety of petroleum basins both domestically and internationally.

He has gained extensive operational experience through his involvement with Delhi Petroleum, Esso, Conoco, Petroz and Novus, culminating in his role as Chief Operating Officer with Sunshine Gas, where his role included taking a lead in initial studies for the SUN LNG Project with Sojitz Corp and the Reserves Certification process and FEED study for CSG developments.

 
Stuart Owen

CFO/Company Secretary

Stuart was appointed Company Secretary on 13 July 2010 in addition to his role as CFO. He has a wide experience in the energy sector in coal and gas fired power generation including the use of landfill gas and liquefied natural gas. Stuart has held wide ranging commercial management and finance roles, including Commercial Manager for Energy Developments Limited. Previous to this role Stuart was commercial manager on the delivery of a multi site gas fired power generation project. Stuart also has experience in project financing, mergers and acquisitions and project development.

Clifton Hefner BS

Clif has experience as an Engineer, Manager and Consultant in the oil, gas and CSG industry, an Adjunct Professor with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in their Project Management Academy, and a Director of Stanwell Corporation Limited. In the oil, gas and CSG industry, he has 32 years of broad engineering, economic, project, operations and management experience.

Clif graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with BS in Petroleum Engineering with Highest Honours. The first 24 years of his working career were with Chevron Corporation in nine countries. Following his move to Australia and prior to joining Blue Energy, Clif has worked for El Paso Production Company, Sunshine Gas Limited, QUT, Stanwell, and others as a consultant.
